About Creative Women of Pinnacle Peak

Welcome from 2012-2013 Officers and Board,

President & lifetime board member Polly Reed, Addie Edwards (Vice President), Judy Callahan (Secretary), Diane Andreasen (Treasurer),  Ruth Unger (Assis. Treasurer), Betty Lee (Lifetime Board Member), Joanie Burchmore (Board Member), Pat Kolander (Board Member), and Polly Ringdahl (Board Member) - All Welcome you to our 2012 -2013 year. We are in our 21rd year of fundraising for less fortunate women and children.

In 1991, four ladies decided that they wanted to give back to the communitiy. They invited twenty of their friends and agreed to form a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation called Creative Women of Pinnacle Peak.

CWPP was selected by the Scottsdale Chamber of Commerce for inclusion in the 2005 "History Hall of Fame" in recognition of our philanthropic work in the Scottsdale Community.

Homeward Bound's "Children's Champion Award" was presented to CWPP in 2005.

Creative Women of Pinnacle Peak has raised and distributed over $2,300,000 to local charities since its inception. Each year CWPP sponsors a number of special events which raise monies to be donated to approved charities. One of the many things that sets CWPP apart from other organizations is that every dollar raised goes directly to selected charities. Member volunteers manage CWPP and their dues cover all administrative expenses.

CWPP is a creative and diverse group of women from all walks of life. We appreciate the need for volunteerism within the community and set our goals and standards to meet these challenges. Our primary objective is helping children in need.
